Formula: (total acquisition cost + extra exit costs) / [quantity × (1 − sell fee rate)]. With cost 260.26, quantity 3, sell fee 0.1%, extra 0: about 86.84017351. Round up to the actual price tick and recalculate. Slippage, taxes and partial sales are excluded.
Why not simply average the buy prices?
Different quantities have different weights. Buy 1 at 100 and 2 at 80, with fees of 0.10 and 0.16: cost 260.26, quantity 3, average about 86.75333333, not 90. Formula: sum(price × quantity + fee amount) / sum(quantity).
This is acquisition cost, not an exit break-even price: future sale fees are excluded. To estimate a full exit with the spot tool, use this fee-inclusive average as cost per unit and set buy fee to 0 to avoid double-counting, subject to its full-sale and quote-currency fee assumptions.
